Dr. Vijay Institute of Education and Technology, Varanasi is an affiliated college in Bhandahan Kala, Kaithi (Markandey Mahadev), Varanasi – Uttar Pradesh. Set with the noble aim of offering standards education in technology, the centre is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college provides three diploma courses in engineering fields in order to meet the need of skilled technical workers needed in different sectors. The faculty of the institute is comprised of 38 dedicated professionals, therefore it aims at creating a favourable environment for learning among its learners. 

Dr. Vijay Institute of Education and Technology, has variety of amenities which may assist student in their academic education besides assisting them in interpersonal development. The library an important tool in learning collects books, periodicals and newspapers which are made available to students. The college is well equipped with modern technological requirements for Information Technology and moulds its students to be computer literate with modern computer equipments and software’s. Laboratories as a requisite feature of technical education, prepare students for practical based courses. The in-house clinic oversees all students’ and workers’ health since they provide daily and speciality check-ups. Students can always found a colourful cafeteria where they can take a break and take their meals, lunch included; the foods served in cafeteria are healthy as well as different and are prepared in cycles that entails changes in seasons. 

Dr. Vijay Institute of Education and Technology is offering a total of three diploma courses for engineering. Some of these programmes being Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Production Engineering etc. Each course is taught so that students are well equipped with knowledge in their chosen area of specialisation, with an added advantage of skills in practice. The intake capacity of the institute has been planned to be 300 students for all courses at once and for the separate branch it has 120 students respectively for Civil Engineering and Production Engineering and 60 students for the Electrical Engineering. All programmes are of a three-year calendar duration to ensure students are offered adequate training with regard to their areas of specialisation.
