Dr. Vijay Institute of Education and Technology, Varanasi is an affiliated college in Bhandahan Kala, Kaithi (Markandey Mahadev), Varanasi – Uttar Pradesh. Set with the noble aim of offering standards education in technology, the centre is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college provides three diploma courses in engineering fields in order to meet the need of skilled technical workers needed in different sectors. Dr. Vijay Institute of Education and Technology is offering a total of three full time diploma courses for engineering. Some of these programs being Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Production Engineering etc. Each course is taught so that students are well equipped with knowledge in their chosen area of specialization, with an added advantage of skills in practice. The intake capacity of the institute has been planned to be 300 students for all courses at once and for the separate branch it has 120 students respectively for Civil Engineering and Production Engineering and 60 students for the Electrical Engineering. All programs are of a three-year calendar duration to ensure students are offered adequate training with regard to their areas of specialization.
