Dr. Virambhai R. Godhaniya IT College, Porbandar, was established in the year 2017. This is a fairly new institution imparting quality education in the Information Technology field. Being an affiliated college, it is located in Porbandar, Gujarat, over 4 acres of land. At present, it has an enrolment of 257 students with 13 faculty members. Dr. Virambhai R. Godhaniya IT College offers three full-time courses across two degree levels in areas of Information Technology and Computer Applications. The institution is highly dedicated to nurturing technological expertise through its specialised curriculum and state-of-the-art facilities.

It has many facilities for the betterment of the students regarding education and overall development. This is a 2700 square feet library, and it serves as a hub of knowledge with 52 cupboards and 8 giant reading tables seating 80-100 students at one time. The college has excellent IT infrastructure and departmental laboratories, which help in practical exposures to IT education. It has an auditorium for events and seminars that enrich campus life. Dr. Virambhai R. Godhaniya IT College offers a concentrated selection of courses in the streams of Information Technology and Computer Applications. The courses offered in this institution on a full-time basis include Bachelor of Computer Applications, Master of Science in Information Technology, and Master of Science in Computer Applications. All these programs have been so designed that the students can acquire the latest skills and knowledge required in this rapidly changing IT industry.
