VSIPS Kanpur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Dr. Virendra Swarup Institute of Professional Studies was found in the year 2009 at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. This is an affiliated college with the approval of AICTE and offers versatile professional courses to learners. The VSIPS campus spreads over just 0.83 acres and still manages to make a mark in the higher education sphere. The institute presently houses 116 students while having a dedicated faculty of 15 members.

This campus boasts of an ideal learning environment accompanied by modern facilities. At the heart of VSIPS is a well-stocked library containing more than 5,000 copies on 750 titles. These are regularly updated with the latest publications from India and overseas. The air-conditioned classrooms and seminar halls, well-equipped with the requisite materials, can accommodate 150 students for a host of academic and extra-curricular activities, proving beyond doubt the seriousness of the institute in pursuing holistic development.

VSIPS, Kanpur conducts five full-time courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Courses such as MBA, BBA, MCA, and BCA,  have been prepared to meet the demands of the job market. The number of approved intakes for the MBA course is 60 seats. Professional studies are reflected right in the courses structured by the institute, and each course retracts to theoretical knowledge with fusion of practical application.

Admission is at VSIPS Kanpur based on course and seat category. Government category seats for the course of MBA require the candidate to appear for the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Examination conducted by the government of Uttar Pradesh. For direct admission to an MBA, there is eligibility criteria, which requires at least 50 % marks in graduation. It is 45% for the reserved category.
