The College of Agriculture, Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation, was set up in 2013 in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, to provide high-quality education in agriculture. This affiliated college on a vast piece of land of 100 acres offers a detailed study on agricultural science. The college has 257 students and 21 faculty members, making the student-teacher ratio of 12:1 possible, which enhances student-centredness and the delivery of quality education. 

Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s College is a unique campus well equipped with state-of-the-art facilities meant to improve the students learning and general welfare. For practical teaching purposes, there are well-facilitated separate laboratories, practical and model, a big and fully stocked library with a number of reference books, national journals, periodicals, and a functional ‘Book Bank scheme’ sponsored by the Government of Maharashtra. Concerning sports and recreation instruments and facilities, the university has provided a gym for training, different football, basketball, and other tracks for outside sports also. The college also has an auditorium for functions, seminars, etc.

Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s College of Agriculture provides the first four years with the ten-semester B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.) programme. This is the full-time course that encompasses the education that students need for acquiring the essential knowledge of different aspects of agriculture.
