DRK Reddy College of Physical Education was established in the year 1995 and is one of the most prominent institutions having a campus in East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. Being a co-educational institution, the college is off-campus and is developed for physical education with professional approval from the National Council for Teacher Education. The institution, with its spacious 9.23 acre campus, offers a favourable atmosphere for aspiring professionals in the domain of physical education. With an enrolment of 94 students and a faculty strength of 19, the management provides personalised attention with quality education. At present, the institute offers two courses, Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) and Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed), to cater to different educational needs in physical education.

DRK Reddy College of Physical Education has some of the most efficient facilities designed to improve the learning process and all-round development of its students. A well-equipped library stands as a reservoir of knowledge for the students, allowing them to gain access to a wide range of educational resources. For practical training, departmental-based laboratories are there in the college allowing the students to get hands-on experience in their field of study. At present, DRK Reddy College of Physical Education offers two prominent courses in the field of physical education. B.P.Ed is a full time programme which takes up 3 years of period for all-round training in physical education. This programme has an accredited intake of 100 students, which goes to prove that the college has the capacity of developing an adequate number of future professionals in physical education. Apart from this, there is a three-year D.P.Ed course with 50 seats  providing short-term well-focused education in the area for those who seek it. The total intake is 150 seats with both programmes, and the college consistently produces skilled professionals in physical education. This way, the institutes can deliver quality education in the field of physical education.

Admission Process The admission process at DRK Reddy College of Physical Education is designed to select the most suitable candidates for its programmes. For the B.P.Ed programme, an entrance examination is conducted by the state government/affiliating university that includes a written test, fitness test, and interview. Other admission criteria include percentage marks secured in the qualifying examination.
