Dronacharya College of Education, Jind, was started in the year 2008. It is an affiliated college in Haryana, India. V.P.O Kilazafargarh, Tehsil Julana, District Jind, is the place where this institution with a co-educational system of education is currently adhering to the cause of undertaking teacher education. This 2.14-acre campus is duly approved by NCTE, New Delhi, and ensures quality standards for teacher training. There is a total of 193 enrolled students and 9 faculty members. Dronacharya College of Education offers a focused learning environment to aspiring educators.

The institution has a full range of facilities aimed at enriching and improving the learning environment of its students. It has a well-stacked library as its backbone, having more than 3,050 books on various streams of education. There is a reference section and a book bank. It has modern, well-ventilated, air-conditioned classrooms with the latest teaching aids like audio-visual equipment, overhead projectors, and TVs. The institute provides fully equipped science laboratories separately for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and a Social Studies laboratory to make the learning of social sciences an enjoyable experience.

Presently, Dronacharya College of Education follows only one major course, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program. This is a two-year full-time course with approved intake of 100 students so as to maintain a proper student-teacher ratio within the college. The B.Ed program aims at building the students' capabilities to pursue successful careers in teaching.

The admission to Dronacharya College of Education shall be made on the basis of merit, based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college follows the admission policies adopted by the State Government of Haryana, UT administration, and the affiliated university.
