Dumkal Polytechnic Basantapur and is among the premier technical institutions in Murshidabad district of West Bengal. The institute conducts various diploma courses in the engineering field and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).  Admission to Dumkal Polytechnic has been free and fair and aims to offer all deserving candidates admission into its various diploma programs.
