Durgapur Institute of Polytechnic, since its establishment in the year 2014, is a technical institution located in the city of Durgapur in the state of West Bengal. The spread over of DIP is over a sprawling 65-acre campus and offers various diploma courses in the field of engineering. The institute stands to be approved by the councils of All India for Technical Education and is an affiliated college. With an overall enrolment of 471 students and a strength of 36 faculty members, the ratio of students to teachers stands at a positive note in DIP.
DIP has a whole range of modern facilities to facilitate and promote the student experience. The hostels offered at the campus are separate for boys and girls, well-furnished and designed in a manner to ensure comfort and good living conditions.
