DVS Evening College, Shivamogga is an affiliated college set up in 1968 is located in Shivamogga, Karnataka. Located at Sir M. V. Road, Basaveshwara Circle , the college was established more than half a century ago to fulfill the demand of education in this part. Being NAAC accredited, DVS Evening College provides its students quality education that they need to succeed in the future. Currently the college has in its student population one hundred and nine students, while the faculty consist of six members thus ensuring that the college’s learning environment remains compact.

The centre has put in place amenities that increase conformity to the all round learning objectives of the college. The campus has a resourceful library which consist books to meet users’ curricular requirement particularly to the undergraduate students. For physical development As for recreation there is the facility for sports to all the students. The college is also providing an auditorium, where many programs and seminars are arranged. A cafeteria provides refreshment to all members of the campus including the staff and the students. It maintains heath and safety for each of its faculty members, and this is evident with a medical department that offers first aid.

At present the proposed DVS Evening College is offering just one full-time course which is the Bachelor of Arts course only. This is an academic programme and it takes a student for three years to complete it, it offers undergraduate education in humanities.
