About East Point College of Higher Education, Bangalore
East Point College of Higher Education, Bangalore (EPCHE) is one among the established colleges that started in the year 2004. The college is situated in Virgo Nagar Post, Avalahalli, Bengaluru and the college infrastructure comprises of 98 acres of land. Being an affiliated college EPCHE is accredited from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) hence the quality technical education is provided. It is an institute with 1,102 enrolments consisting of the students and a faculty of 39 members.
It is the policy of college to offer a wide range of services that provided with modern equipment. Huge importance is paid to laboratory facilities which allows departments to provide students with the possibility of practical learning and research. It functions as a repository of over 60,000 volume and current collection includes journals from international as well as national databases. To enhance student comfort, EPCHE has separate hostels for boys and girls consist of furnished as well as well equipped and even come with additional items such as generators, water heaters, etc. as well as recreation centers. The campus has a hall for events and seminars, a canteen offering clean meals and a health facility with emergency treatment amenities. Also, the East Point Hospital that is situated in the compound of the campus avails health care services to the compounded persons.
East Point College of Higher Education has a total of thirteen courses offered which include both undergraduate and post graduate. There are regular programs mainly 3 year BBA, BCA, B.Com, 2 year MBA, 3 year M.Com and many more innovative specialisations along with International BBA, BCA, B.Com programs. The college also offers professional courses in BBA, BCA and B.Com. The MBA programme has been approved to take 180 students.
