EWI Polytech was started in the year 2015 as a technical College in Yelahanka New Town, Bengaluru, Karnataka. This affiliated college operating under AICTE also provides number of diploma courses in various branches of engineering. Located on five acres of land, EWIP’s total cohort enrolment is 409 and the faculty of which comprises 37 members. The institute caters technical education through five full time diploma courses which are offered for three years each.

EWIP boasts of its spacious structures necessary for the improvement of the learning environment of the compound. The college has modern and fully equipped laboratories to accommodate general and specific branches of engineering such as computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical & electronics engineering, mechanical engineering and civil engineering. These labs offer student practical exposure, which is vital for practical knowledge of any course. The library facility in the institute is employed as an information centre, which gives a variety of printed and electronic appliances for academic work.

The total number of diploma offered in East West Institute of Polytechnic is five all of them are full time programmes. Included among these are Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering, Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. The variety of programmes offered to students give them the opportunity to pick a course of study of their choice and in areas of their interested field.
