Eastern Christian College (ECC) was founded in 1993 and is situated in Dimapur, Nagaland in a region marked for its deep cultures ad exceptional significance to the history of the country. Located on 3.91 acre of land this is affiliated college which provides a number of undergraduate courses in arts and commerce faculty. Currently, ECC has a total of 494 students and 30 faculty members which ensure favorable learning atmosphere.

This has placed Eastern Christian College in position to offering a variety of amenities to supplement the student experience. The campus has a good number of books data along with grace or which the students are able to get the textbooks and research material from the library. A girls’ hostel could also be a home away from home for female students who live outside Dimapur. This college also offers a total of 9 undergraduate course all of which are full time courses. The course offerings include: Bachelor of Arts (BA), with majors in, history, geography and political science; Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), with options in business Administration/management, accounting/finance, and marketing. The college offers ordinary and honours programmes in such areas as Sociology, Political Science, English, History, and Accountancy. Also, ECC provide evening shift BA programme to serve students who might be occupied throughout the day.

Admission to Eastern Christian College is on first come first served basis with interviews. The facilitation that prospective students have to go a long way in presenting their original documents together with their parents or local guarantors.
