Ecole Intuit Lab is one of the greatest institutions that offer high-quality education specifically in design and visual communication. The institute allows undergraduate and postgraduate programs to nurture creative talent in these fields. Admission at Ecole Intuit Lab is a complete process directed at finding students who have creative prominence. The admission cycle usually begins with the issuance of application forms for various programs. As a part of the initial steps in the admission process, prospective students are required to fill and submit these application forms. Upon submitting the application, the institute goes through a multi-faceted selection process in order to gauge the candidates.
The selection process of Ecole Intuit Lab involves various components to judge different areas of a candidate's abilities and potential. It involves in-depth tests, personal interviews, and portfolio evaluations. The in-depth tests are possibly meant to determine the potential of the candidate for design as well as innovative thinking. The personal interviews can be used by the admissions committee to judge the level of passion for the program that a candidate holds and his communication skills. This evaluation of the portfolio is an important step in the process where candidates can show their existing work and, therefore, demonstrate their creative skills.
Application Process
The French Institute of Design and Visual Communication, Mumbai has a selective yet complete application procedure. This is one step-by-step procedure to do so:
1. Application Form: There is an application form for starters, and one can download this from the official website of the institute or may also be given by the admissions office.
2. Application Form: For this reason, the applicants attach all the relevant documents along with their application form, properly filled in. Documents may include documents of academic transcript, proofs of identity and so on.
3. Portfolio: It is the development of a portfolio of the candidates to get them into some of the design-based programs in universities. These portfolios are basically works that exhibit best skills with the creative talent for the potentiality of these candidates in that chosen field.
4. Depth Tests: As of the date of selection, candidates must have faced certain depth tests. Those tests determine how apt the candidate is toward the design, thinking, and creativity that are very relevant to problem-solving skills based on his or her chosen course.
5. Personal Interview Candidates shortlisted during the process have to be presented for a personal interview. Admission committee tries and assesses various aspects such as communication skills of the candidate about his interest area, and on the whole fitness of the individual for the specific course at that very stage itself.
6. Portfolio Evaluation: The portfolio submitted is strictly evaluated by the admissions committee. It gives an idea about the current skill level and the possible creative potential of the candidate.
7. Final Selection The final selection is based on the performance of all of the above, that is, application, tests, interview, and portfolio evaluation.
Degree-wise Admission Procedure
UG in Visual Communication and Digital Design: It is an undergraduate program that lasts four years. The procedure for joining the course is most likely going to be like that of most general application submissions, followed by the institute's more detailed selection process, possibly including tests, interviews, and portfolio review.
UG in Digital Product Design: The institute would be offering four years of UG in this subject. However, the entire process of getting into the programme will be under similar norms with undergraduate programs in itself, save that it might put more tests and interviews while assessing the ability and reviewing a candidate's portfolio about digital product design.
Game Art and Design-UG: It is a four-year program for students interested in the gaming industry. Admission would involve assessment of the candidate's artistic acumen as well as working knowledge of game design concepts by the selection process of the institute.
UG in Animation and Motion Design: This undergraduate program is designed to work on the skill of animation and motion design. Admission would be a tough test for the artistic skill and knowledge about the principles of animation that the candidate can have.
PG in Advertising Design and Digital Communication: This is a two-year postgraduate program. The admission procedure for this course may demand applicants to have relevant bachelor's degree and show a high level of skills in advertising and digital communication through the selection process.
PG in Creative Technology and Design This would be yet another two-year postgraduate program offered by the institute. Entry into this course would likely be even more discerning of an applicant's technical skill and creativity apt for further study at the graduate level.
