Egra Sarada Shashi Bhusan College, established in 1968, is an affiliated rural college sprawled over 8.53 acres situated in Purba Medinipur, West Bengal. It offers a large number of courses in the form of 22 programs under 9 degree programs. It offers a learning environment which enriches its students with its total enrolment of 6,667 and a faculty strength of 24. The institution is marked with the quality tag through its accreditation by NAAC.

It has several facilities that help in enhancing the student experience at college. The streams and courses available at Egra Sarada Shashi Bhusan College are as follows: 22 regular courses, both UG and PG, comprising BA, B.Sc, and B.Com with honors in subjects related to Bengali, English, History, Physics, Zoology, etc. New courses have also been introduced in B.Voc Streams, namely Software Development, Theatre Studies, and Green House Technology, keeping in view the growing needs of the industry.
