Elumalai Polytechnic College, which started in the year 1983, is one of the oldest technical college for polytechnic course situated in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college is located on a vast area of 95 ac and has been training future engineers for almost 40 years already. The college has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education ( AICTE) and the college has a wide spectrum of diploma courses in numerous faculties of engineering. The annual student enrolment of Elumalai Polytechnic College is 1130 and the faculty members recruited for the college consists of 84 as of now.
