ECMT Kolkata: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Eminent College of Management and Technology is one of the affiliated colleges, established in the year 2015. The college is located at Barasat, West Bengal, within a compact campus of 2.5 acres. There are different programs across management, technology, and healthcare. The enrolment of students in this institute is 275, and the strength of faculty is 31. ECMT is running 8 courses in 7 different degree programs, out of which BCA, BBA, and MSc. In Computer Science are the popular ones.

The college provides loads of facilities to make the process of learning enriching. The college library is well-stocked with more than 7,000 books and many national and international journals and magazines—sufficient for any academic pursuit. The IT infrastructure within the campus is very high, with its well-equipped computer labs providing hands-on experience of the latest technology. Apart from all these, there are specialized laboratories oriented towards health-care-related Programs that simulate the medical ambience of a real-life situation. The boy's hostel and girl's hostel are fully provided with all amenities necessary for a comfortable stay, and help provide a homely atmosphere to the out-of-town students.

It has a total of 8 courses: full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Courses are available in streams like Computer Applications, Business Administration, Hospital Management, Computer Science, Optometry, and Medical Laboratory Technology. It also offers a BBA in Hospital Management and B.Optom for students zealous about healthcare management and optometry respectively.

The admission procedure in ECMT is mainly through common entrance tests. The undergraduate courses at the level of BCA, BBA and BBA in Hospital Management are merit-based through a Common Entrance Test. The admission into the M.Sc. the same procedure is followed for the program in Computer Science. Entrance examination marks are considered relevant for the B.Optom program, too.
