Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, India based Excel College of Technology was set up in the year of 2009. Located on NH 47 Salem Main Road Pallakkapalaym this is an Aided Co-education college affiliated to the Thiruvalluvar University affiliated by AICTE. With a total student intake of 1,863 and a faculty strength of 195 Excel College of Technology currently offers engineering courses at the undergraduate and post graduate level. Currently, the institute aims at delivering technical education to the highest standards and encouraging growth of different fields of engineering.

Excel College of Technology ensures that the campus is well equipped with modern facilities to enhance students learning. There are well furnished hostels for boys and girls with various rooms having facilities of attached bath and various other amenities. The total approved intake for all courses is 1,863 students which is a fact that supports the institutes capability in taking in a large number of aspiring engineers. Although the graduation number for the latest year is still unknown, the college desires to deliver academically excellent and practically trained engineering professionals of the country.
