Excellent Model College for Teacher Education, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal, solely caters to teacher educators. It is a co-ed college that started in the year 2014 and hence is an affiliated institution with recognition from the National Council for Teacher Education. Spread over a compact 0.89-acre campus, the learning environment is concentrated on the enrollment of its 195 students. This institution has kept a decent student-to-teacher ratio with a faculty strength of 16 members, hence assuring personalized attention and quality education.

The infrastructure includes several facilities for the betterment of learning processes and overall development in students. Well-equipped separate hostels for boys and girls with proper arrangements have been provided for the comfortable stay of students coming from far-flung areas.
