At the Palakkad locale of Mannapra lays the Ezhuthachan Training College, founded in the year 2005, aimed to inspire educational enlightenment of the state Kerala. This affiliated college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and is situated in a small 3 acres plot providing an uncluttered environment for learning. It has a total intake of 50 students, 7 faculties where it offers closer attention to aspiring educators and professionals. The institute now has five self-financing B.ED specialisation programmes in Mathematics, Physical Science, Social Science, English, besides the general BED course.

Each course is a two-year full-time programme, aimed at giving students both pedagogical training, and subject Specialty.
