The Faculty of Dental Sciences, SGT University, Gurgaon, was founded in the year 2002 as a very prestigious constituent college for dental education. The institution is situated in Gurugram—the city of Haryana—and occupies a space in the field of dentistry. The faculty has spacious campus acres of 60 and offers a wide range of dental programs. The institution has a good team of 92 faculty members, making sure a very favorable student-to-teacher ratio. Being a co-educational institution, it admits students of all backgrounds and offers 19 courses at three degree levels: BDS, MDS, and Ph.D. in different dental specializations.

The Faculty of Dental Sciences is fully committed to providing advanced facilities to its students. At the institute, there are well-equipped laboratories, modern clinics, and advanced research centers. A full-fledged library with an adequate stock of books on all branches of dentistry functions as the knowledge center and provides access to a wide range of dental literature and digital resources. Separate hostel facilities are available for boys and girls for students' convenience. The campus has sports facilities to motivate students toward sports and other physical activities, maintaining a fine balance between their academic performance and outdoor life. A health center with first aid facilities is on the campus to take care of the health of the campus community. The institute offers a wide variety of dental courses aiding to different levels of dental education. The Bachelor of Dental Surgery is the flagship program with an intake of 100 seats. At the postgraduate level, it offers nine specializations in MDS: Oral Medicine and Radiology, Periodontology, Prosthodontics, and Orthodontics, with 6 seats each. The institute also offers doctoral programs in Ph.D. in the different disciplines of dentistry for those interested in advanced research and academics. These courses will be full-time ones, which will make sure that students get concentrated training and practical exposures.                      

Admission to the Faculty of Dental Sciences is based on national-level open entrance examinations. The institute offers admission to BDS through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. For the MDS course, NEET MDS serves as the doorway. These tests thus provide a filter to make sure that only meritorious candidates get admission to the institute. The faculty follows a very transparent and purely merit-based selection process, meeting the National Standards of Dental Education.
