Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA LLB) Honours is a five-year full-time Integrated programme in Law offered by Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi with the approval of Bar Council of India (BCI).

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate shall be eligible for appearing in the Under-graduate Entrance Test (U.E.T.) leading to admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)Semester I, if the -
Applicant who has successfully completed Senior Secondary School (10+2) or equivalent (Such as 11+1, „A‟ level in Senior School Leaving certificate course) from a recognized University of India or outside or from a Senior Secondary Board or equivalent constituted or recognized by the Union or by a State Government or from any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognized by the Government of that country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of the course.
However, the applicants who have obtained 10+2 through open Universities System directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies shall not be eligible for admission to 5-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) course. Minimum marks in the qualifying examination for admission not below 50% of total marks in case of General category applicants; 45% in case of OBCs and 40% in case of SCs & STs applicants.
Applicants should not be more than 20 years of age on July 1st of the year of seeking admission. However, applicants belonging to SCs; STs and OBCs should not be more than 22 years of age on July 1st of the year of seeking admission

Admission Details

Admission in B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) I-Semester program of study shall be made on merit in the UET.

College Infrastructure

College has its own library, 2 lawns with lush green beauty, well off infrastructure and spacious classrooms. It has wifi facicility available 24×7. College has smart classrooms and a great teacher facility.

It's one of the best university In the country.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of bhu is one of the best in the country.The college has all the amenities to enhance the skills of the students(sports,arts everything). The campus provides 4g wifi upto 4gb/day to each student. The common area and the garden are well maintained.the library In the campus has a huge collection of books.hostel is alloted to the students according to their rank in the entrance exam.the hostel and mess facilities are decent.
