Farook Training College, Kozhikode Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college library has a rich collection of books (17124 volumes), International Encyclopedia of Education, General Encyclopedias, Educational Journals, and Periodicals. Apart from this a good collection of periodicals, CDs and Dissertations are available in the library.

The college has two well-maintained computer labs with 40 systems and accessories. Internet and Reprographic facilities are made available to students and staff members.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a boy's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The Parent Institution has hostels of its own. Deserving students will get accommodation in the hostels of Farook College on request.

The institution maintains a well–equipped Science laboratory, Social Science laboratory, Psychology Laboratory, and Educational Technology laboratory, which give the trainees real impetus for practical work.

The cafeteria functioning in the campus provides refreshments to the students and staff.

The cooperative store of Farook College extends its membership to our institution also Educational and hence our students can be members by purchasing one or more shares worth rupees five each. Students can laboratory stationery and study materials at a concession rate from the store.

Jubilee Health Centre of the Campus is open for all students of the Farook College Campus for free medical service.

The modern fenced ground has handball, volleyball, and football courts.  The renovated ground was completed on March 31, 2021. There is also a badminton court adjacent to the ground.  Various competitions are held for the students over here. Internship practices and class training for students are also conducted on the same ground for their effectiveness.

The purpose of the Association is to foster and perpetuate friendship, contact, and cooperation among the old students through informal meetings and through other means. The association seeks to further the social, literacy, and cultural interests of the college by maintaining an active channel of communication between the college and the alumni.

The College has a well-equipped Gymnasium and a Yoga hall with modern facilities for the students since physical activities and physical education cover a major part of the required syllabus. Endurance training facilities, Gym machinery, and accessories for strength training, flexibility training, etc. are all included as part of the mission to rid students and teachers of lifestyle diseases. A separate yoga hall for yoga training along with special facilities for recreational games is also attached to the gymnasium. For better concern and facility, there is a morning and evening training time schedule both for teachers and students respectively.
