Flora College of Architecture, Pune (FCOA) is a young college which was established in the year 2016. This college affiliated to co-located near Khed-Shivapur Toll Plaza in Maharashtra and here this college provides only architectural education. FCOA resides in a tight built up 10 acre site which makes it convenient for an organization of this nature to provide focused learning to students intending to be architects. The college currently has 53 students enrolled; it therefore has close student/faculty ratio of 8:1 with a team of eight faculty members. FCOA only has one and that is the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) which is a five year full time program recognized by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi.
Extra curricular facilities of the college include various installations that are intended to supplement learning of the students. Admission policy of the Flora College of Architecture meets the standards laid down by the council of architecture New Delhi and Savitribai Phule Pune University. For admission, the candidates are required to sit for National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA), conducted by Council of Architecture every year. Otherwise, the candidates can also get qualified through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Paper-2. Schooling normally begins in the summer semester from June or July. FCOA synchronously opens its application period with these National Level Entrance Examinations so that those wishing to become architects have enough time to apply. Unfortunately, scholarship details are not sensitive to the public, however, the college’s purpose of enhancing architectural talents is well reflected by the college’s specialized mode of educations and selection.
