G Pulla Reddy College of Pharmacy was started in the year 1994 it is located in Hyderabad, the college is one of the most popular college for the pharmacy education and courses. Kamala Rashtriya Women’s University is a co-educational college established in Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad and covering an area of 5 acres and it is affiliated to Osmania University. It is affiliated to the National Association of Software and Services Companies and the All India Council for Technical Education and approved by Pharmacy Council of India. Current student population is 493 and its faculty members are 30, it proposes 18 courses in 4 degree programs, subjects of which are related to different pharmaceutical faculties.

The college has numerous and up to date facilities that can be used for learning and students’ personal growth. The library is located at the second floor and fully equipped with online database, books, journals, e-resource in all pharmaceutical subjects. Taking part in other athletic activities, recreational amenities such as table tennis, carrom and chess, volley-ball and badminton are available. It also has a modern Information Technology facility, a cafeteria for the teachers and students and a 300 seater auditorium for function and examinations. There are special laboratories to suit the various needs of each department in the college, thus exposing the trainees to practical experience.

Pulla Reddy College of Pharmacy offers following programs B.Pharma, M.Pharma, Pharm.D, and Ph.D. Course. that the college in total intakes at least 453 students to different courses offered within the institution. The B.Pharma program which is one of the flagship program offers 60 seats only. The M.Pharma program provides the following specializations: Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, and Regulatory Affairs for fifteen to sixteen students for every specialization. The provision of Pharm.D program is 32 students. They also provide full time and part time Doctor of Philosophy in a wide range of pharmaceutical disciplines.

The admission policy of G. Pulla Reddy College of Pharmacy differs from one course level to another. For B.Pharma and Pharm.D, admissions are done through Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). The M.Pharma seats are filled according to the GPAT and TS PGECET ranks. Admission to Ph.D. course requires a candidate to pass an entrance examination conducted by Osmania University and an interview.

The college offers admission through various exams like TS EAMCET for the undergraduate programs, GPAT, TS PGECET for the post graduate programs. Intake usually opens from July/August and closes between September/October while the exact timetable may change from one year to another. Like many colleges in the country, the college has an overall 70:30 seat allocation system as the seats are divided into entrance exam rank holders and management quota.

The college also has a Training and Placement Cell that helps to shape career in reputed Corporation in the pharmaceutical industries.
