Gaighata Government Polytechnic, Gaighata: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Gaighata Government Polytechnic is a technical institute established in the year 2017 at Gaighata, West Bengal. This affiliated college, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), offers diploma programs in engineering disciplines. Currently situated within the district of the North 24 Parganas, the polytechnic has an enrolment of 322 students and a faculty strength of 21 members. The institute is presenting three full-time diploma courses that have a 3-year course in its area of specialisation, which involves the areas of Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering.

A good number of facilities at the school foster the academic and personal development of the students. The library avails resources that are important for doing research and general study. There are well-equipped laboratories that support the learning within the respective departments, covering what is necessary to sustain the technical education system. Similar to the Diploma in Civil Engineering, the Diploma in Electrical Engineering and the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering each has an approved intake of 60 students. The fee has been set for each course at an annual of 4,090 rupees with the intention to provide technical education to a larger number of students. All the aforesaid courses, over a duration of three years, are aimed at imparting a solid base in the relevant engineering subject of choice to the students.
