Gandhi Global Business Studies, Ganjam: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Founded in 2020 a relatively young institution in Ganjam, Odisha is the Gandhi Global Business Studies (GGBS). Affiliated to BPUT, Odisha and approved by AICTE, Golanthara, Jhinkipadar is home to this co-education college. GGBS is exclusively a management college that has three different options of MBA degrees. The institute wants to serve as an informative centre for superior management and is staffed with 30 faculty members.

The infrastructure facilities available in the Gandhi Global Business Studies campus have been installed with the state of art technology to support the learning process of students. In the college there is a modern library that incorporates hard copies and electronic forms of literature to meet various needs of the students. For instructional experience, GGBS has departmental labs where students can put down theory into practice. 

The campus is wireless enabled, in order that the students can access any resource from the internet and can connect at all times. To ensure student’s health was well taken care of the institute provides sporting amenities as part of the balanced lifestyle. The college also has a distinct hall and hostel facility for boys and girls from other towns in order to dwell and study comfortably. Students needing some relaxation time after classes or during their free periods may congregate at a Functioning cafeteria which is provided at the school.

The Gandhi Global Business Studies is a specialised school in the postgraduate level business administration. There are at present 3 MBA full time programmes offered in the institute where each programme has a tenure of two years. This include; MBA in Finance Management, MBA in International Business and MBA General. The General MBA programme has an approved quota of sixty students, the MBA in Finance Management and the MBA in International Business each having an approved student intake of one hundred and twenty students. This increases the total student throughput for all courses to 300, this demonstrates the institute's ability to produce a number of business leaders in the future.

The admission process of the institution targets a selection of students who are likely to offer managerial capacity at the GGBS. Although there is much detail missing regarding the admission process of MBA, usually the aspects that are taken into consideration can include, prior academic performance, scores in the MBA entrance examinations and at times the work experience of the candidate. 

Since Gandhi Global Business Studies is a young to mid-ranked institute, the focus is to carve out its niche in the management education in the coming years. Information on placements, scholarships, and the companies that recruit these MBA’s, as well as the well-known executives from the institute, are not available yet, nevertheless, the institute’s concentration on the niche MBA programmes points to the fierce intentions to produce students equipped with knowledge required for specific sectors of the business environment. With time and as GGBS expands and evolves, its focus will be on maintaining a large population of skilled managerial human capital in Odisha and all over the world.
