Gandhi Naturopathic Medical College, named after Gandhi, the father of the nation, was established in 1970 at Hyderabad in the newly formed state of Telangana. This affiliated college is focused on naturopathic Medicine, which is an integration of traditional knowledge, beliefs and values in the present modern system of conventional medicine. Located on a vast land of Ten acres the college is rapidly coming up and it provides a conducive environment for learning. There was a total of 146 student enrolment in the institution making it to have small classes hence close students and faculty interactions.

GNMC has a well-defined curriculum which enshrine the Brother of Naturopathy and Yogic Science (BNYS) as its primary course. This is a six-year full-time course catering for sundry training in naturopathy and the school’s principles and practices. The class size of the college is small and there is an authorised strength of 30 students permitted per course for BNYS so as to ensure focused learning.
