Gandhi School of Engineering, Berhampur (GSE Berhampur) is a recognised technical college inaugurated in the year 2008. This affiliated college is situated in Chidananda Hills, Bhabandha, Berhampur, Odisha, extends over an area of 10 acres of land. Recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, Gokhale Institute of Technology and Management, Berhampur affirms the educational standard of the institution in the Technical fraternity. The institute at present has total intakes of 1168 students and faculty of 37 offering five diploma courses in different fields of engineering. Being fully conscious to its social responsibility in providing quality education and equipped teaching and learning resources GSE Berhampur envisions to produce professional ready to face the corporate world.

The institute is proud to present itself as institution, which offers the best conditions for learning accompanied by all the necessary facilities. GSE Berhampur possesses well equipped laboratories adorned with latest and sophisticated machineries, instruments and tools to provide practical exposure to the latest technologies. The campus has a good Information and Communication Technology (ICT) setup and its facilities range from a fully groomed Wi-Fi network which provides Internet connection at any time throughout the campus. The institute has a library in the heart of knowledge with mounting over 12000 reference titles on technical management and basic sciences and national and international professional journals. More importantly, it provides students with e-journals to help them stay in touch with development around the world in their areas of specialisation.

Total of 6 full time diploma programmes are offered by GSE Berhampur and all the programmes are of three years duration. These programmes include diploma in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical engineering, information technology and PGD) in Industrial Safety. The total approved intake for all courses is 420 students at the institute-developed courses and Mechanical Engineering course has the highest intake of 180 students. All these programmes enable students to select a field of their preference, and thus pursue their desired careers.
