Gangadharpur Sikshan Mandir, situated at Howrah, West Bengal, is a reputed educational institution for training teachers. This affiliated college was established in the year 2005. For the last almost two decades from the foundation, it is continuing to nurture the future teachers. The institute is housed on a compact 1.68-acre campus, offering three specialised courses in education to host an overall 394 students. A teaching faculty of 27 members ensures a very decent student-teacher ratio, ensuring personal attention and quality instruction. The institution has been permitted by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and adheres to its high standards of teacher education.

The institute is equipped to both improve the learning aspect and the development of the student as a whole. The Gangadharpur Sikshan Mandir runs three full-time education courses to cater to the different levels of teacher training. 

Admission to Gangadharpur Sikshan Mandir is strictly done on a merit basis with the guidelines of the State Government and the University. Admission may be through any admission mode like the marks obtained in the previous examination and/or through an entrance test. The other selection criteria may include as per guidelines of the West Bengal Government or affiliating University. Admissions to the M.Ed programme and D.Ed course are on the basis of the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination and entrance test.
