Gargi Agriculture Research and Training Institute (GARTI) which was set up in 2006 is a well known education centre located in Nashik of Maharashtra. Being affiliated, its a co educational institution which has taken a special place among the students in the field of Agricultural and technological learning. Located in a consolidated 1-acre area, GARTI provides 6 courses across 4 degrees for 277 students in total. The institute has a strength of 15 well qualified faculties with dedicated commitment towards grooming students.
Gargi Agriculture Research and Training Institute has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to show it is a lofty academic body with institutional merit. It is noteworthy that the institute boasts of the following facilities to improve the learning process of its students. The sports facilities meet the physical need of the students while the act as a general event and seminar arena. It is an ongoing project since July 2008 and features a range of documentation and Internet and encourages the culture of learning through researching. The laboratories of GARTI for wine brewing and alcohol industry consist of highly technical analytical facilities for soil and irrigation water analysis, wine and beer, and whisky analysis. Currently the institute offers 6 full time course out of these it offers undergraduate as well postgraduate degree. The total intake of students for all courses combined up to that level is 344 as the institute have the capability of producing a good number of professional year in, year out. The courses range virtually from a very technical subject such as Wine Technology, Computer science & Commerce, B.Com etc. to some very general courses and they ensure that through the programmes offered, students can choose whatever career they want to pursue.
There should be clear admission policy in Schools and colleges admitting students in the institute.. To pursue the B.Sc Wine Technology course, a candidate is offered a seat based on her merit and the category she falls in. Admission to other courses may not have clear details highlighted but they too most probably have merit admission system in place. It became differentiated based on their offerings especially Wine Technology and Brewing among other institutions. That is why these specialised courses address the demand in the wine and alcohol market, giving the students unique skills.
GARTI has a special focus on alumni activities since ex-students represent a great value to the further development of the institute. The majority of the alumni have been placed in the profession as oenologists, winemakers, viticulturists and cellar technicians. The infrastructure of my college is quite good also the new academic block is quite marvelous as well as the sports complex of my college is will maintened the libraries are well furnished and the lapse have proper equipments.
The infrastructure of my college is quite good it has big libraries and digital classroom the playing the round of my college is also big with good infrastructure qualities like badminton and volleyball ground.
My college has very good in first structure it has big libraries and digital classroom. They have big loves regarding wine technology where we make wine. The college also has unique library regarding winerys.
