Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sonipat was established in 2009. The institute is affiliated to Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST), Murthal and approved by AICTE. GIET, Sonipat offers courses at the undergraduate level. For admission into the GIET, Sonipat candidates need to pass the entrance (JEE Main) as well as the qualifying examination(10+2) with a valid score. GIET, Sonipat provides placements to students in the top reputed organisations. A total of 39 companies have participated in the GIET, Sonipat 2023 placement drive. GIET, Sonipat Admissions

The university offers admission to undergraduate programmes. To get admission into the GIET, Sonipat B.Tech course candidates need to secure a valid score in the JEE Main entrance examination. Whereas, for admission into the GIET, Sonipat BCA course candidates need to secure a merit score in the qualifying examination.

According to the placement records 2023 provided the highest salary package provided by the GIET, Sonipat is found to be Rs. 9,00,000 for B.Tech students and the highest salary package for the BCA students stood at Rs. 8,50,000. Some of the companies that participated in the placement drive are Decathlon, TCS, Emicon, Techsophy, Tech Mahindra and many more.
