GD Memorial College, Jodhpur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

GD Memorial College, Jodhpur, was established in the year 2009 and is a co-educational college in Sector 4, Kuri Bhagtasni Housing Board, Jodhpur Rajasthan. The college which is situated at 3.36 acre of land has offered 19 courses in nine degree programmes. The new institute has a total enrolment of 929 students and 32 faculties and a decent teaching atmosphere for the students of the institute. GD Memorial College provides specialisations in Arts, Commerce, Science, Computer Application etc; it has flexibility to cater a large no of students.

GD Memorial College includes several different facilities necessary for the effective development of the academic programmes. Accommodation provision is adequate, and every classroom has installed audio visual systems and overhead projectors that enhance active learning. The adequate library is considered as the learning resource centre containing a vast number of books, periodicals, and other critical research materials. There is great confidence in technology and adequate infrastructure put in place in governing the college and, in turn, offering the students insight into the most advanced trends in their disciplines. They include Physics and Chemistry laboratories, Practical and Demonstration Botany and Zoology laboratories. Other facilities consist of a common multi cuisine vegetarian restaurant for staff and students, transport facilities for students, sports facilities and a health care unit with first aid facility.

At present, GD Memorial College has undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. As part of the 19 full time courses, the institute offers BCA, B.Com, BBA, and various B.Sc and M.Sc courses. The college also has several Masters degree programmes in area such as History, Political Science, Sociology, Literature, Geography among others. 

The entry procedure of the GD Memorial College is simplified in such a way that every common student can understand and follow. Depending on the programme of interest, the college may use performance in particular qualifying examinations. The institute teaches a range of programmes and carries a voluminous list of programmes of study at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
