GDR College of Education, Panipat: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

GDC College of Education, Panipat, was established in the year 2007 in Haryana, India. This co-educational institute is affiliated to Kurukshetra University; it has the accreditation of an 'A' grade from NAAC. NCTE-approved GDR College of Education has specialised programmes in the field of education. It has a spacious area of 3 acres and has a total student enrolment of 377 students with a faculty strength of 15 dedicated teachers. 

GDC College of Education has provided a favourable learning environment to the students and has equipped them with all kinds of modern facilities for their students in order to improve their educational experience at the institution. It is well supplied and well-stocked with 15,150 books, besides the four computers with an accessibility issue on the internet, along with photocopying facilities. There is an ultra-modern reading area with a capacity for 100 students at a time and best suited for high concentration and quiet study. The ICT laboratory comprises 28 computers, printers, scanners, and a projector to be used by students to provide the necessary digital literacy skills. It has a Psychology Resource Centre, a Science Laboratory, and a Language Laboratory, along with many specialized laboratories within the college setup for practice by the student-teachers. In addition to this, there is also a canteen, facilities for medical care, and sports facilities so that students get a balanced college life.

GDR College of Education runs two full-time courses in teacher education to suit different levels in the profession. There will be a mix of theoretical knowledge with practical teaching skills in both courses, and therefore the graduating students will be better equipped and prepared for prospective careers in the system of education. 

Admission to GDR College of Education shall be based on merit and shall be transparent.The admission to the B.Ed course shall be based on the merit of the qualifying examination and or on the basis of entrance test conducted by State Government of Haryana and Kurukshetra University. Admission to D.Ed. course shall be on the basis of merit taking into account marks in the qualifying examination and or entrance test results.
