This is Ghousia Institute of Technology for Women, Bangalore (GITW) which was started in the year 1986. This women’s college is situated in the centre of Bangalore, close to Dairy Circle; Hosur Road; it aims to offer good technical education. An affiliated college GITW was approved in All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE]. The institute is situated in a 3 acre area and the institute offers engineering courses and diploma courses. 

It has numerous sophisticated infrastructures meant for its academics. The Girls Hostel which begun in 1998 comprises of 24 comfortable rooms out our recent addition of 4 new rooms. The library of Ghousia Institute of Technology for Women is established to provide all the students with the required books and relevant sources. The college also has sports amenities to ensure students physical health as they also maintain proper balance between their academic and sports activities. Technologically advanced Infrastructure facility and Laboratory along with modern Amenities enhance the practical exposure in each and every departments. This campus also has a cafeteria, guest house facility, health center, a facility of first aid, and an auditorium for conducting lectures seminars etc. making the environment suitable for learning by any student.

GITW provides a wide variety of programmes and courses for students these being undergraduate engineering and diploma courses. It offers 7 full time courses for which the institute offers 2 degree levels. The B.Tech offered by the institute are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Science and Engineering.
