Gitanjali B.Ed. College, established in the year 2013. Situated at Murshidabad, West Bengal, this institution is a co-educational one established in a compact 1 acres of land solely for teacher education. This is an institution offering B.Ed for two years and full-time approval. This is a program with an entire enrolment of 200. This faculty strength of 16 members places the student-to-teacher ratio quite in favour at Gitanjali B.Ed. College, hence ensuring personal attention and quality educative endowment to the aspiring educationists. 

There are various facilities on the campus designed for better learning and all-round development. A well-set library full of knowledge keeps various education-related stuff available. Separate hostel facilities have been provided for boys and girls, particularly for students who come from a faraway place from the college. Further, the college has departmental laboratories and well-maintenance of information technology infrastructure that would enable students to acquire practical exposure in connecting the knowledge and skills of the students. The only program offered here is teacher education. There is only one course available here—the Bachelor of Education, popularly known as B.Ed. This is a two-year full-time course that is aimed at providing the students with careers in teaching and education.

Gitanjali B.Ed. College admits students on the basis of pure merit. The norms and policies adopted by the State Government of West Bengal and the affiliated university are adhered to at the time of admission. Applicants for admission to said course shall be selected based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, which most of the time would be at the level of graduate degree. In some other cases, admission is given according to entrance examinations or other selection procedures accepted by the government and the affiliated university at that point in time.
