GIBDS – Global Institute of Business Management and Decision Sciences is a new generation B-school situated in Pune, Maharashtra which aims at developing future business managers and executives. Auto owned by GIBDS is located in a twenty two acres of compound thus providing appropriate learning atmosphere. The institute is approved from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which mandates quality education in technical colleges. GIBDS offers two postgraduate diplomas in management, with a total composite enrolment of one hundred and eighty students for both programmes. It has a small number of members in the faculty with a strength of 8 members and also has a good student faculty ratio. It is a co-educational school whereby the gender of the students does not restrict theiroption of taking a certain course and this makes the school to encourage the admission of students from different parts of the country. 

GIBDS is dedicated to fulfill all the needs and the expectations of students and to provide a variety of student services. The campus has Boys and Girls hostels, separate and highly secured with amenities such as purified water, washing machines, refrigerators among others. Our university library as established to provide information services to its patrons in order to facilitate academic activities. Outfitted with modern laboratories and great IT support, the students are capable of using state of the art tools in their areas of training. With emphasis on the balanced promotion of the child, GIBDS offers athletic amenities such as sports fields and a hall for teaching, cultural, and other activities. The institute also fulfils the transport needs thus eradicating the hassles of transport for students and employees. The institute offers two full-time postgraduate diploma programs: PGDM and PGDM in Business Analytics contested here. 

The PGDM program intakes direct admission to sixty seats, while the PGDM in Business Analytics has fifteen indirect seats taking the total number of seats to one hundred and eighty seats for both programs. The programs in both courses take two years to complete, and equip students with knowledge as well as practical experiences in their fields of interest. The programs have been designed to address the dynamic needs of the business environment, thus offering promising courses for management and analytical careers to its students. 

GIBDS admission process aims that students who had the best academic performance and possess leadership qualities are given admission. The basic admission criteria for admission in the University for the prospective students involve having at least a bachelor’s degree with a pass of at least 50%. Call it CAT (Common Admission Test), CMAT (Common Management Admission Test), XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test), or MAT (Management Aptitude Test) – the institute welcomes scores from all the national level Management entrance exams. 

These exams test the abilities of the candidates for management studies and they are important tools during the hiring process.
