GiES is one of the top private institute situated in Barwani established in the year 2008. This affiliated college is situated in the Sendhwa, Madhya Pradesh, and the college located in this area covers 15.48 acres of land. GIES offers 10 courses for two different degrees and the number of enrolment students is 377. The faculty members to student ratio is also quite favorable because the institute has a membership of 59 faculties known as members. GIES is AICTE approved, which is a testament the institution’s stance on providing quality education to its student populace. GIES offers a number of services to improve the students learning environment. This facility has provided separate hostels for boys and girls both with capacities of more than 250 students. It also has well equipped laboratories for practical exercise, sports grounds for physical growth and washing and a canteen for snacks and drinks. Further, the institute has transport facilities, an event Management Hall, Gym facilities and Health Centre along with a First Aid.

In terms of engineering courses, the institute is endowed with both Virginia under graduate and diploma courses. GIES offers 6 BE programs and 4 Diploma courses, all of which are for full time education. The BE programs take four years to complete and the Diploma courses are completed in three years. These programs are available for different specialization areas of engineering and equip the students with all round job prospects in the technological sector.

The basic entry requirements used for admission in GIES are JEE Main score for BE programs have been standardized on the JEE Main examination results. Being national level exams these are some of the measures that prospective engineering students have to undertake. The competitive and fair selection criteria are thus achieved by the institute’s emphasis on this standardized test. However, for admission to diploma courses it might be different and students/ any candidate wishing to take a diploma course should clarify with the said institute.
