GM Chaudhari Polytechnic, Shahada was established in the year 1970 and is one of the most renowned technical Institutes in Nandurbar District, Maharashtra. This affiliated college, having approval of AICTE, offers various Diploma engineering streams. The institute was spread over a 200-acre campus, with a total student enrolment of 290 and a faculty strength of 26. GM Chaudhari Polytechnic is firmly dedicated to providing quality technical education in pursuance of four diploma courses in diversified disciplines.

The institute also boasts of a number of facilities to enrich the learning experience of students. The campus has hostels for boys and girls with comfortable and safe living. The boys' hostel has a capacity of 225 boys, and the girls' hostel has a capacity for 410 girls. The hostel for tribal students is the Eklavya Hostel, which consists of 30 rooms. There are more than 111,955 titles of books, 72 journals, and 14 newspapers in the college library, which is a repository of knowledge. GM Chaudhari Polytechnic offers a three-year full-time diploma program. Each course is offered with an intake of 60 students: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Civil Engineering, with an approved intake of 60 students for each program. Therefore, across all courses, the total student intake would be 240.
