GMERS Medical College and Hospital, Sola, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, was established in the year 2011. The infrastructure of the college covers 44 acres of land and it is under the affiliation of one of the leading medical colleges in Ahmedabad, which offers all the medical courses approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The GMERS Medical College and Hospital, Sola, has a total student enrolment of 800 with a faculty strength of 140. GMERS Sola is dedicated to providing quality medical education for those nurturing health professionals. The institute offers 10 courses under 3 degree programs, majoring in different medical subjects. GMERS Medical College and Hospital, Sola offers courses in the entire medical fields.The flagship program of the institute is the MBBS course with 200 students being selected to advance in the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery course. Additionally, there are also various postgraduate programs which include MD and MS courses in Pathology, Anesthesiology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, and ENT. All these programs being full-time enable them to receive intensive and focused medical training. The total sanctioned intake of the postgraduate program includes around 52 seats in different specializations, under which specialized medical education in those various fields can be conducted.

The process of admission at GMERS Medical College and Hospital, Sola is based on merit and held through a standardized procedure.Admissions to MBBS are done through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG).To gain admission to the MD and MS courses, postgraduate aspirants must clear the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduates (NEET-PG). This college extends applications from all over India. However, 94% of students are from the state of Gujarat, 4% are from other states, and adding to the learning diversity, 2% are from outside the borders of India.
