48 MonthsThe B.Sc Nursing program is a four year full-time programme comprising eight semesters including internship which prepares B.Sc Nursing graduates qualified to practice nursing and midwifery in a variety of health care setting nationally and internationally. The programme is focused on developing critical care and thinking, skill proficiency and values necessary for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery. It prepares student to become responsible professionals by following code of moral values and fulfilling personal, social and professional responsibilities. Students are provided with opportunities to learn a whole range of skills, training and values in addition to acquiring knowledge related to nursing practice and profession.
The whole curriculum is based and prepared according to the syllabus and guidelines given by INC, Delhi. The faculties involved are well qualified and experienced to take responsibilities and create learning environment to interact and facilitate the learning with competencies required for the functioning within the scope of nursing practice. The college is affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow
The selection of candidates is based on an entrance examination (CET) conducted by ABVMU followed by counseling.
