Goel Institute of Higher Studies Mahavidyalaya or GIHSM was started in the year 2010, established in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, affiliated to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya. The GIHSM is strategically located on a total land area of 3.39 acres and is one of the rising stars among similar schools in the area. The college is NAAC accredited, which shows the college’s keen interest in offering the best outcome of the course it offers to its learners. Having a total strength of 544 students and 42 teachers, GIHSM is a college that provides a student intake in different courses of B.Com, B.C.A, B.B.A, and B.Fine arts. 

Goel Institute of Higher Studies Mahavidyalaya has on display a list of facilities that are supposed to facilitate the learning process of the institute students. The library as an academic resource is overseen by a faculty headed Library Coordination Committee that sustains the update of resources in relation to the needs of the learning institution. Quantitative programmes comprising the course portfolio are the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Commerce Honours (B.Com Hons), and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Applied Arts and Painting streams. Every programme has been developed with an aim of offering students sound knowledge and skills in line with their area of specialisation. The total number of students enroled through various course programmes is 544 students This has helped to keep the students per faculty ratio at an optimal level to encourage individual close attention and quality delivery of services.
