Best college if your want to pursue geography under University of Calcutta. Very helpful faculty and very good cultural committee . Very clean and hygienic washrooms.i would recommend this college to anyone .

Academics was really good independent study, vast syllabus, systematic teaching, professional environment, fair grading system,effective learning, good laboratory, overall the academic is really good.

Placement is not good as they don't provide Placement for every course so if you pursue professional course you be placed but it's good in every other parts or department of the college so I would recommend.

Modern methods of teaching with all the equipments, vast llibrary resources along with e books, cheap store to buy stationeries at a reasonable rate and lab facilities are an added advantage to the facilities required.

Expertise faculty providing in depth knowledge apart from the necessary notes to frame answers and reference text books. Department library and central library providing rich resources for gathering knowledge.

Workshops and seminars based on guidance and knowledge about job opportunities often take place. Teaching methods are also oriented towards vocational and applied studies apart from theoretical knowledge.

Overall Good but there was lack of rooms for waiting when we did not have any classes.All the rooms are cleaned but the ac machines were not working. It was a disappointing matter for us in the summer season

I am studying BA Honours in English. It will be helpful for me to find a place in the academic field.Sone teachers are very much attentive and serious about the syllabus. I think my course,my study will help me to make me for job ready.

Yes...My college was supportive but I did no have enough information about the placements of the students but I hope that they will get good placements in their work of life. There was a lot of students who were already settled in abroad and many of other students are doing good jobs.

It was 15000 rupees for per year..but I think that the money should be less for all types of students who want to study in that college. If the infrastructure of the college and the teaching process of the teachers will be more serious, attentive then the money will be worth to study in that college.

The college campus is overall good. The students were engaged in different types of social activities like dancing singing etc. The students, teachers, support staff's behaviour were good.. the college is located in a proper area, nearby of Nandan,so it was totally safe for the students.

I enjoyed my college life at my heartiest.

Lack of Number of rooms for classes . Corridor is too narrow. There should be a wide space in the garden. Doesn't have proper canteen.. otherwise it's clean enough to survive. Cleaning of college is maintained regularly.

I have studied English honours there. Faculties are very good and well qualified.. especially the HOD ma'am from communicative department was to good to be praised.. teaching skill is also very good.. somehow there's a lack of permanent professor in the English department .

As it is a general BA BSC degree college the chances of placement is rather not so good. The students who are doing communicative course can be able to be placed in any company . And that happened too .. some of our batchmates were placed to TCS from English department.. I am not sure about their salary package..

I had to pay 14000 per year for my course. English department in Gokhale is very impressive so yes somehow it worths . I have learnt many things except study from this campus. Like spoken English, being smart etc

Best part of gokhale was there was no union then.. so there was no political pressure and political issues..wors part is now it is present there.. it is safe about Location because there is a school adjacent to it.. which gives nostalgic vibes.. and there's SSKM hospital in the opposite.. so in any emergency we can go there. There is NCC and alumni also .

I have spent memorable time there.. yes though it has some shortcomings but still it is good enough for girls to study there with security.

My college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment that are required for my coarse . The classrooms doesn't have smart boards , wifi , Desktops . the living spaces are very clean but the food canteen is a bit under process so it is a bit untidy .

I studied Communicative English major because I had interest in mainly the technicalities and social advantages through it . The faculty of this course is outstanding and beyond everything a professor has to offer . Te curriculum includes all the recent developments in field and keeps up updated throughout. The coarse makes every student job ready and the major degree has a compulsory internship program in the last semester to prepare the student .

The placements are good over the years . 90% of students have been placed overall . The highest salary was approx 8LPA and it was offered to the Advertising dept . The average salary was 3.5 LPA .The placement process was extremely easy and pleasant for the students and the college was super supportive about it .

My coarse costed 21,320/- per year. I personally feel it is a bit too much if it would have been somewhere between 12,000/- to 15,000/- it would be easier for a lot of students specially in the major courses. Although the degree is absolutely worth it as it teaches you to prepare yourself for the all kinds of media / corporate jobs in every sector .

The best feature of the campus is it has a lot of greenery and the worst feature is it is extremely small and compact hence there's hardly any campus area or free space to move . There are different clubs and cocurricular activities where any and every student can apply . The students and teachers are amazing , few teachers are very strict where as most of the staffs are bit reserved and non cooperative. It is in a good position , can handle emergencies as it right opposite to a govt hospital.

It can improve the canteen , infrastructure and open spaces.

Our college has all necessary equipment for us. It has a well built library with varieties of books not only related to our course but also books for outside knowledge. It has good laboratories with all necessary equipments required for lab based subjects. The wifi facility is excellent. Our college always keeps hygiene as it's first priority.

Psychology as a subject is very interesting . It helps us to understand the human behaviour. That's why I took this subject and I want to know more about it. Our college professors are extremely helpful. Their explanations regarding this subject and the way the portray the topics have made to grow our love even more. Psychology has many branches so getting a job in this field is not a fuss. Our professor's provide us all the materials required not only for exams but also future need.

Our college provides us with the best placements possible. They make us ready for the placement so that we can have that merit to get selected. Most of the students in our college takes part in this. Our college supports us in every way. They always keep placements having average of 50k salary.

Our college fees are very much affordable for us. Each course we have to pay within 5k and it's worthy. The support and cooperation that our college provides us is immense. So the money we give I think our college is worth it.

The college location is excellent. It is safe as well as very exotic. There are a lot of restuarants and shopping malls around. The best thing about our college is that they make us learn how to bond with others. Through various events they bring the students of various departments together and thus we make many new friends.

I think our college is a pillar for us . Our support system. It is like a second home to us. The way the professor's support us is incomparable with any other professors of other colleges. Our college's faculty staffs are also very cooperative and helps us in each way possible. Our college tries it's best to make our college life mesmerizing.

Good infrastructure with large rooms and laboratories. One if the best library of kolkata is in this college . Smart boards are in some rooms and soonto be in most of them . Air conditioner are in most of the laboratories and rooms .

Someone looking good amount for seriousness and sincerity must get in this college . Very experienced professors and staff . Good practical / in field knowledge. Amazing library so no problem for books .

No such placement. But has good professors so you can make contacts and use it for your future jobs . Being a pass out student of this college will help get lot of jobs . Good faculty members and very helpful particularly senior staff .

Overall good experience as a student with friendly environment, professional teachers and helpful staff . More or less good infrastructure though there is room for improvement and the college is constantly doing that for students. A lot of interesting campus programs and camps . Someone who is interested in serious studies must consider this option with worth money invested.

Yes, all our College have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment and we have well maintained classrooms, laboratories and libraries but have a little bit lack of sports centre and hostles; except those everything is fine! Our living spaces and garden all are clean and foods are hygienic in canteen. Also we have a fine auditorium for every cultural programme.

I'm studying B.A English honours for getting bachelor degree on English literature and gathering knowledge on my subject. Here, in every department, teaching quality is really very good because they teach us delicately! Yeah, my curriculum is updated and includes all the recent development in the field. Yes, what I'm studying makes me surely job_ready because bachelor degree on English literature would give nice opportunity in job-line.

Good placement! Minimum 80% students were placed and highest salary package was 85000/- what was offered. Yes, everything was nice to me and yeah my College was supportive! So we've no issue about job-line.

Around 5000/- to 6000/- and yeah,ai feel it's worth here because all activities are really worthy to me!

Campus life is really beautiful! We can read in library and can hang out in the garden and can have delicious meal from canteen. Except those, all are really nice to me. Location is in Central Kolkata, Rabindra Sadan. Yes, it's very safe and yeah it can pretty much handle emergencies because the location of this College is just opposite of the renowned hospital, SSKM, PG.

The college infrastructure is great , probably one of the best in kolkata for psychology department.Laboratories are very well equipped and maintained properly.Libraries have almost every book one requires and WiFi facilities are provided in the campus.As hygiene and sanitation is concerned, washrooms and classes as well as the canteen and campus is very clean and sanitary machine is also present in one of the washrooms.Our college conducts annual sports every year and overall satisfied with it.

The atmosphere fosters one academic growth sharply. Everyone here is very focused in their studies and classes are regularly held.Specially my department ( psychology) is claimed to be the best.As far as the curriculum is concerned , it is very detailed and theoretical based .I wish it could be more practical oriented so that students could develop skills from an initial stage , but the detailed knowledge they gather from the curriculum is commendable and helps you to cope up with higher studies

TCS has a tie up with our college but the salary might not be satisfactory since one can't expect much from a bachelor's degree. most students go for higher studies and people opting for placements have to sit for an interview and a test towards the end of their final semester. If clear they it then they are hired for the job .It will surely add up to your work experience and help you to create a better resume.

Absolutely.It is a semi government institution and the fee structure is very affordable for middle class and upper middle class families. My second year course , comprising of both third and fourth semester costed around 15 thousand rupees.

Ragging is strictly prohibited so no need to be afraid of being bullied.Being an all girl's College everyone will be eager to help you in times of need and there will be absolute no hesitation in expressing that. Staffs are cooperative and being located in rabindra sadan, you will be surrounded by a lot of amazing eateries around . Don't forget to try Balwant Singh's chai and samosa. PG emergency is just opposite to it so in case of crisis you can immediately go there.

College is small wifi is there but not working smart boards are not there library is huge hostel is there labs are average capmus is somewhat clean toilets are very clean there are projector rooms. Rooms are big and small both.

I'm studying psychology because I wanted to pursue it. Quality of teaching is good, we are studying in CBCS system that has extremely in depth syllabus and makes us job ready. The Course is very nice and increases knowledge.

Placement quality is average. Students get placed but they don't do such jobs because most of the students want to pursue higher education. Placement process is difficult for beginners and placement cell is not that helpful.

Campus is average, small but library and academics are amazing. Students can do NSS activities and other things. Teachers are Good staffs are also good students are very attentive and serious. The location of the College is safe till 8pm. It can handle health emergencies as the SSKM hospital is just opposite to it.
