Gokul Pravati Rural College, Kuntara chartered in Sambalpur district Odisha in the year 1978, is an n+ Affiliated College. This college is located in a relatively small area of 5.47 acres and provides students with the green, quiet environment needed for learning. Offering its services to 272 students and 11 members of faculty, the college maintains a small focal size which is ideal for the student-teacher relationship. 

The Gokul Pravati Rural Collegellege boasts of well-facilitated and well maintained facilities to ensure that the students are well developed both physically and otherwise. The library stocks in excess of 25, 000 books to meet the informational needs of the students and the staff. For the science students we have open and spacious laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a capacity of accommodating 32 students in + 2 level. Follower the need for exercise, the college promotes active participation in sports and athletic activities. Students participate exercise during Annual Athletic Meet and inter college tournaments with the help of a trained coach who teaches them at play ground adjacent to this college.

BA is a full time course that will be in three calendar years With this agreement in place Gokul Pravati Rural College presently offers the Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme.
