Golden Polytechnic College, Salem was set up in the year 2010 at Pallakadu, Othiyathur Post, Gangavalli Taluk Salem District Tamil Nadu. This co-educational institute is an affiliated college under AICTE, All India Council for Technical Education all India. Golden Polytechnic College takes 217 students in total and employs 45 members of the faculty sharing wide variety of diploma programmes in the sphere of engineering. 

Golden Polytechnic College has developed good facilities which include compound infrastructure to improve the abilities of students. To accommodate the students, the college has readymade arrangements for both boys and girls hostels where out-station students can comfortably study.
