Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Puri follows a structured admission process to ensure that eligible candidates can enrol in its various Ayurvedic programs. Admission to the undergraduate program, BAMS in the colleges is offered through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

Admission to postgraduate program MD/ MS is offered through All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET). A detailed Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Puri admission process is given below. 

GAM, Puri Admission to Postgraduate Courses 

• Submission of application: Candidates who have qualified AIAPGET need to fill an offline application form provided on the college website. Candidates must submit the application form by registered post/ speed post./ courier to the below mentioned address on or before the stipulated dates.

• Publishing of merit list: After evaluating the application, AIAPGET scores and other factors, the college prepares a merit list. Admission is granted based on their position on the merit list. 

• Counselling: The institute conducts a counselling session for admission to postgraduate courses. Seat allotment is done based on the ranks obtained in the merit list. During counselling, candidates need to select their preferred specialisation.  

• Document verification: Candidates need to appear for the document verification session. The list of documents required to be submitted is given below.

• Photocopy of AIAPGET hall ticket/admit card

• Photocopy of AIAPGET rank card

• Photocopy of class 12 marksheet and certificate

• Photocopy of B.A.M.S. or equivalent degree certificate and marksheet

• Photocopy of internship training completion certificate

• Photocopy of Nativity Certificate from the competent authority

• Photocopy of Cast Certificate (if applicable)

• Photocopy of PC/PWD certificate (if applicable)

• Photocopy of the Licence for practice of Ayurvedic Medicine along with updated renewal

• Photocopy of “No Objection Certificate” 

• One Bank Draft of Rs. 1,000/- 

• Two recent passport size coloured photographs attested clearly on the front

• One self-addressed envelope (23cm X 10 cm) size affixing postage stamp worth Rs.40/- each
