Gorantla Venkateswarlu and Attota Dhana Satya Lakshmi College of Education is NCTE recognized and approved by Acharya Nagarjuna University to provide education since 2003 in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh. It has a total area of 2 acres. The college offers 3 courses through 3 degrees in education on full time enrolment to 200 students and has faculty strength of 36. Therefore, the college maintains a favourable student-teacher ratio. The institute is co-educational and provides equal opportunities to male and female students for helping them acquire their desired academic goals in teaching.

There are also a plethora of facilities given by the college for the all-round development of students. Library is the backbone part of the institution with 5,000 books in addition to reference books for B.Ed and D.El. Ed courses besides 1,000 reference books, computerised catalogue state and national board textbooks, etc. There is also a library that can accommodate 70 students and works between 9.00 AM and 12.00 PM and 2.00 PM and 5.00 PM. Besides, the labs with all the facilities of science, well-established IT infrastructure, sports atmosphere, a mess, and health center with first aid facilities are also provided. All these create apt environment for learning and skills' development.

The college offers full-time courses in education; of these three courses, an approved total intake of 350 seats is permitted. It offers B.Ed and D.El.Ed at undergraduate level with 100 and 200 seats respectively and post-graduation M.Ed with 50 seats. All of these programs have a happy ending in the lines of teaching and educational administration.

The admission process in the Gorantla Venkateswarlu and Attota Dhana Satya Lakshmi College of Education varies with the courses. The minimum aggregate percentage in the qualifying degree examination is 50%. But for SC/ST/BC/PHC candidates, it is 40%.The admissions are released in two streams: 75% of the candidates enroled in DSC are allotted through EDCET Convenor and the remaining 25% is allotted by management based on the guidelines issued by APSCHE. Candidates who wish to pursue D.El.Ed admissions are required to first secure a rank in the DIETCET. M.Ed admissions strictly depend on the rankings secured by the candidate from PGCET.
