It’s best in the business. Though it has smaller campus when compared to other colleges in the city but here size doesn’t matters. What matters is the quality of education which is top notch. Facilities are appropriate.

Faculty is top notch. Highly qualified teachers provide best education make your education journey smooth and joyful. Teachers are bit strict pluse soft spoken which makes learning experience amazing of everyone.

Our college has highest placement rates in the tricity when compared to college offering same cources. Due to prestigious name it makes very easy for children to get into big companies with an edge ..

our clg have all the necessary infrastructure like liberary ,playground auditoriam etc but they all are very small espeacially playground. There are smart classrooms , I don't know much about laboratories as I belong to commerce field so I have never visited labes & all

Iam studying b.com beacause I want to pursue m.com further . Quality of teaching is not that good in all cases especially talking about law the teacher is not at all intersted in teaching us but she gets annoyed with our marks ...like seriously she never teaches but expects us to show good marks

I don't know much about placements but what I have heard from seniors is that there are very few companies who visits are clg & give placements to only few students . So our clg have really poor quality of placements .

My 1st year fees was 40,000 including exam fees ...& I personally don't feel that iam getting my money worth because some teachers are really not interested in teaching they just came to clg everyday for marking present also it very

The classrooms are spacious and desks are appropriately placed in the classrooms. The library is well equipped with all the books and there is a provision of digital library as well. The multimedia rooms are well equipped with instruments to give students a smooth practicall experience

The curriculum is well planned. The teachers leave no stone unturned to plan their lessons well in advance so that there is enough time left for revision before the semester exams. They do not hesitate in clearing the doubts of children and also provide extra study material from their end so that children do not face any difficulty in their sem exams

Overall the placements are good and placement cell provide ample opportunities to the children and many MNC like Deloitte and EY are among their top recruiters. However, I feel that placement opportunities are scarce for fields other than B.com. Being a student of BA I just received recruiting alerts for BPOs only which was quite disappointing for me

Overall the facilities provided by the institution provides value for money but in my case as mentioned earlier it did not prove much worthy as I did not get expected campus placement opportunities which would increase my value of money here.

The campus life is one of the best thing about the college. College organizations like Enactus and Tedx instill proffessionalism in you way before you enter corporate life. You learn teamwork while working in these organisations. Besides, college fests are a great way to increase your organisational and management skills.

Overall, the college is best suited for anyone looking to stay in tricity. The culture and values instilled during your time here is going to help you shape your personality

Infrastructure is good. Campus is huge and well maintained. Liabraries and IT cells are also well equipped with latest technology. Canteen is also well maintained and hygienic. Sport centers and grounds have a good maintainence

Teachers and teachings are highly professional. Teachers are cooperative and very understanding. All the required subjects and education neccessary for all round development of a student are provided by the institution.

Placements are good. According to a begginner they are great. Job opportunities provided are very encouraging for an individual to het a start. College is very supportive for development of an individual .

Activity area is required, better cafeteria, Classrooms could be in better condition, No air conditioning, No smart boards, teaching style is very conventional leading to low class strength, Practical knowledge and exposure is missing

Practical implementation of the theory subjects, basic tools like excels etc are not taught which are very important for the future job perspective. Students are not given enough exposure in terms of the future job roles and areas

Placements are average, variety of profiles and proper education and placement portals is not there, Highest salary package was around 10lc. The variety and choice in profiles for the commerce students were missing, very limited profiles were called for the placements

The course cost me around 30k per semester, I really dont feel in comparison with the exposure

There is a need of more societies and better college events specially for commerce related courses

the college infrastructure is very good, we have around 7 buildings .1) administration building - it has most of the offices for example - Principle office , account office , it also have mini auditoartrium .2)fraser vally building which is for fraser vally student but the ground floor classes are for SD college students. 3) library and IT block .4) art block .5) science block 6) commerce block 7) world class auditorium , we have an open canteen and AC class rooms with projector ,and a ground

GGDSD college is one of the best college for academic in Chandigarh , it is well know for its commerce department , the teacher are very flexible and provide an environment in which we can learn and grow well according to our peace , teachers are very encouraging and help us with every confusion and doubts even after our classes , curriculum is always up to date and teacher encourage students to pick project or internship out side syllabus for over all personality growth.

placements of the college is average as only 50-60 % students land a job after placement drive but college placement cell have its own achievement as ggdsd college is an academical college yet placement cell brought all big 4 ( kpmg, EY, PWC, Deloitte ) for placement to the campus and even firms like google , LnT, paytm , icici , DHL has came to our college for placement , according to our former placement office DR. S.K. Sharma highest package received from our college is 13 LPA and Avg is 4LPA

fee for graduate course per year is in between 25-35 thousand RS and for post graduation is around 22 to 50 thousand RS. if you are a commerce student then it absolutely value for money as having GGDSD 32 degree on your CV will give you advantage when it comes to apply for further studies or get a new job

the campus has a very chilled out environment, you get exposed to diversity as people from different region of the country come along and even some international students take admission here, . the campus is also very safe as there is police inside and out side the campus especially during college elections and there is special women safety cell in the college to keep ladies safe and provide a sense of security ,

the college has so much more potential in terms of placement and need to focus more on cultural fest and clubs , also need some improvement in its sports infrastructure and need to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship more

The college has all the necessary infrastructure, starting from an extensive collection of books in the library to projectors installed in most classroms , sufficient space for cultural activities, and dedicated labs for practical subjects. The sports infrastructure is somewhat lacking, and very little area has been alloted for the same. I did not avail the hostel facility in college, however, as far as my knowledge goes, they are decent for the fees that is being charged.

I am a management student and was pursuing BBA. The quality of teaching varies with regards to the teachers, however, most teachers are quite invested in their subject delivery and are available at all times in case of doubts/queries. The curriculum is a bit lagging, and is sometimes not in line with the current industry practises. There could be a little more emphasis on providing hands on training and honing practical knowledge and skills.

SD has tie-ups with a lot of recruiters due to it's affiliation with Panjab University, has been able to bring on onboard recruiters from all industries that offer decent packages. Recruiters include- Amazon, L&T, IHS Markit, ICICI, D.E. Shaw, EY and Deloitte. The packages for graduates could be anywhere between 3-5 lacs. The placement process is quite smooth and hassle-free, but most recruiters have a preference for a few academic courses which the candidate might want to look into.

My course fee was quite reasonable, about 30k/semester. The course delivery and the opportunities being provided by college are most definitely worth the amount being charged.

The college campus is quite enriching and you're never at the lack of anything .However, you're usually re-directed to the University in case of any administative problems/queries which could be a little tough for outstation students. There are all kinds of clubs recruiting from campus itself (Enactus, Rotaract). Students willing to explore opportunities outside the city/country might want to do so themselves, as the college is yet to expand their international network

My three years have been quite memorable. I've learned a lot, both personally and professionally and college has played a big role in preparing for taking all challenges heads-on.

It doesnot have wifi or smartboards. But i never felt the requirement too. I personally am more into co-curricular activities. Library is really good, one must visit it. Laboratories are well maintained.

I am studying BA because i want to study literature. The quality of teaching is really good, teachers are really knowledgeable and friendly. Co-curriculum is not that updated, but according to me that change is required in whole education system

Campus life is very amazing. We have an auditorium which is really well maintained. Fests keep happening continuously and activities such as Tedx and Managment regarding seminars take place. It is a happening place.

The college is clean and hygienic the facilities in the classroom have laboratories libraries sports centres and hostels . Everything is well maintained and the canteen is also good hygienic and good excellent atmosphere

It’s an amazing place to study . Teachers are very caring and they try their best to make the online classes even soo informative and interesting . It feels good to be here in such a friendly atmosphere .
