Gourishankar Education Society's Satara College of Pharmacy, Dehgaon was established in the year 1999 in the famous city of Satara in Maharashtra. The affiliated college is a reputed one, having been granted approval by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, and is offering various programs in pharmaceutical education. The campus is spread over 10 acres and has a total enrolment capacity of 445 students, a faculty strength of 33, and three undergraduate degree programs with four courses in different themes of pharmacy education.
The college has all modern facilities to support students' academics and other personal developments. Notable among these are: boys' hostel with an intake capacity of 45 students with all amenities such as TV hall, solar water heater and Aqua Guard for drinking water. The library, being one of the majorstays of the institution, has a vast collection of books and journals put at an estimated cost of around Rs. 30 lakhs. This college, as much as it values theoretical knowledge, also stresses its importance in practical learning also. For this, it has 12 laboratories, out of which one is for research with M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) students. They are well-furnished with all modern instruments including the HPLC, UV-visible Spectrophotometer, and many more state-of-the-art apparatuses. For the physically fit, there is a vast gymnasium.

The admission process of Gourishankar Education Society's, Satara College of Pharmacy differs course to course. The D.Pharma course is given according to the merit of the student.
