Government Arts and Science College joined to Komarapalayam is an affiliated college founded in the year 2013 situated in the state of Tamilnadu India. This is an institution based in the United States, occupying a 9.32 acre land and it provides a wide array of undergraduate and post graduate programmes . The college has a total of 1,212 students, of which 61% are males offering undergraduate courses, while 39% are female, another 40% are male students offering postgraduate courses, and 60% female students. The college has 23 faculty members, 14 courses in 7 degree programmes in arts, science, and commerce streams.

Government Arts and Science College equipped with various amenities that will help the academic and personal development of the students. The total library acts as a knowledge centre and provides numerous data and source facilitiesUM for studying and researching. For the athletic inclined the college has built stations where students can go and build their physical fitness as well as be trained on mannerisms. The institution also has well-equipped laboratories to meet the practical lesson of science inclined students. 

For the efficiency of this course in line with the current technological era, the college has good and may be excellent standard IT facility that will enable the students to use modern equipments suited for their academic endeavours. Often there are places for students to rest such as a cafeteria on the campus territory. The college also includes an auditorium which becomes a place for holding different events and seminars and contribute to the rich campus life. To the needy, the college provides both boys and girls’ hostel to ensure that students get a comfortable place for residential purposes from home.

The Government Arts and Science College, Komarapalayam has 14 courses to its credit that include both Undergraduate and Post Graduate programmes. The undergraduate choice of programmes is also three years and the main ones are BA English, BA Tamil, B.Sc Computer Science, Mathematics, Commerce, Business Administration, B.Sc Physics, Chemistry as well as BA Economics. For the postgraduate, the college offers two years programmes such as M.Sc Mathematics, M.Sc Computer Science, M.Com, MA English, and MA Tamil. All of programmes are available at full-time basis, thus allowing students to get the full education in their chosen subject. Even though the number of students to be offered in such courses has not been quantified, the total student list is 1212 of which 897 are undergraduate students while 315 are post graduate students. Students who enrolled in the college in the most recent academic year include the following; all the student taken their respective courses successfully with out any failure 1,212.
